study and memorise the Bible daily.
Below you will find great resources that will help and equip you to go deeper in the Word in your

We have a new memory verse each week for us to memorise and meditate on. We want to make it
as easy as possible for you to access it so you can download it, make it your screen saver or print it.

SOAP
Please watch this video from Ps John Pearce explaining what SOAP is, how to apply it and why it is
so powerful.
What is SOAP?
S– Scripture
Physically write out the scripture.
O– Observation
What do you notice about the scripture? What is the context? What principles do you observe?
A– Application
Why is God highlighting the scripture to you? How does it apply to your life?
P–Prayer
Ask for God’s help to apply this to your life.

Bible Reading Plans if I am new to this:
Bible in One Year by Alpha
If you are a new Christian or new to reading the Bible then this is a helpful place to start. Alpha has put together a great resource called Bible in One Year.
Alpha have their own app and suggest you can either do the full Bible in a year or an express version which is 10 minutes a day. The express version has a couple of verses each from Psalms, the New Testament and the Old Testament.
A great aspect of this app is that there is a daily video devotional by Nicky Gumbel which is enjoyable and easy to watch.

Bible Reading Plans to go deeper:
You Version
You Version is one of the most popular Bible apps. Here you can read the Bible in any translation with lots of helpful tools and resources. You can share your progress with friends; highlight and copy scriptures; listen to the Bible and find inspiring images to make your background.
A great feature of this app is the huge variety of reading plans. You can search for topical plans about many things such as overcoming anxiety, joy and relationships. Download the app today and find a reading plan that interests you.
Bible Project
The Bible Project is a great resource to go deeper in the Word. It has excellent videos on how to read the Bible; themes of the Bible; word studies and book overviews. These are very engaging and educational.
Prefer to listen? There is a Bible Project podcast which is a great way to go deeper while at the gym or in the car. This website also gives you access to Bible studies on a variety of topics.
Bible Reading Plans to really delve deep:
Trash Your Bible
If you want to go much deeper into the Word this year, Trash Your Bible is a great resource for you. Here you can download a Bible Reading plan from a library of options. You can search by specific books or choose a Bible Reading Plan that suits your goals for the year. The website is very helpful and will assist you choose the right one. There is also videos and resources available to help you dig deeper.
